Cajun Shrimp with Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce Recipe

Tuesday, July 7, 2015

So yes, basically shrimp alfredo is what it is. And, it was amazing. We had an impromptu Tuesday night dinner with friends that also happen to be neighbors. My text to Grace went something like this "Hey! Y'all want to come over tonight?" Her response, "Of course, we will bring the wine!" That is a great friend right there.

I was stalking one of my favorite blogs today and happened to come across this gem. And, it was simple, easy but so delicious. It will definitely be in rotation in our household! Put some cheesy garlic bread and salad on the side, and you've got a delicious meal!

You can find the full recipe here. The original recipe calls for shrimp, but chicken or Italian sausage would be a wonderful substitute if you don't like shrimp. Making any type of Italian sauce can be intimating, but it just takes patience. It is so worth it to make it from scratch rather than from a jar. Trust me. Our guests were quite impressed it was homemade from scratch.

Seriously. So, so easy. You have to try this and please let me know what you think!

And of course, to end the night… we had to watch Shark Week! Are you loving it or is that just us?

Hope you are having a great week!!
xoxo
