I'm calling on all bridesmaids, maid of honors and matron of honors! As the matron of honor, I have the privileged duty of hosting my baby sister's bachelorette party! I am beyond excited for her and want the weekend to be absolutely perfect. With that being said, I need your help! I personally had 12 bridesmaids in my wedding and have had the honor in being in all of their weddings, so I have definitely had my fair share of lingerie showers and bachelorette weekends. However, this is my first wedding that I won't be just a bridesmaid.
The bachelorette party is planned for next month and will be in Charleston. We are staying in another bridesmaid's beach house (thanks, Anna!) so that is done. I'm now in the process of trying to plan the entire weekend, make reservations at favorite restaurants and search for the perfect penis straws and accessories.
Who out there has planned a bachelorette party and has any advice to give this ole' matron? I would love to hear your favorite Etsy shops or places to find fun gag gifts and decor! I feel like the "theme" begins with the invitation so once that is selected, I will be able to nail dow the rest of the decorations.
Loving these invitations, what is your vote?
Linking up with Annie and Natalie for Thoughts for Thursday!

I agree with you - the invitation totally sets the tone for the event whether it's a party or a bachelroette event!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI actually really like the first invite. Other than that I have no other advice, I've never planned a bachelorette or even been to one.

Haha I like the "shit's about to get real" thing. I have never planned one either so I don't have much advice :( Make sure everyone gets little favors. Ours were little sleep shorts but unfortunately they were huge on us!!
ReplyDeleteTotally love the Shit one! Here is my advice after planning one for a bunch of very opinionated ladies....just make plans, tell everyone what is up and go have fun! Believe me, those ladies will be so happy someone else is in charge!
ReplyDeleteHahaha I love the Shit's About To Get Real one! I can't wait to see what you come up with! For my bachelorette, we went to Niagara Falls and had an amazing time!
ReplyDeleteThere is a toy shop/lingerie shop on Folly Road called Love Craft... they have all of the penis headbands, penis straws, candy, etc that you could ever need! I live in Charleston right near Folly Beach.. You should go out to the rooftop bars on folly! So much fun!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed while reading this awesome blog, this is interesting to plan our bachelor party.
