Weekend Recap

Monday, June 1, 2015

Happy Monday friends! And, how is it already June? I am already counting down the days until the next weekend. We live for the weekends, clearly. We had an unexpected one, but it was perfect. Andrew and I hadn't gone on a date night in weeks. Yes, we see each other every day and spend the majority of our time together, but date nights are still important. It's fun to get dressed up and eat out at one of your favorite restaurants. So, that is what we did.

Unexpectedly, we came home and welcomed some favorite house guests. Although I was selfishly happy to have them stay the entire weekend with us, they probably wish otherwise as they were expecting to be sleeping in their own beds in their new home this weekend.

So, I don't have many pictures to show you but let's be real, our weekend involved (too much) wine on Friday night, adult birthday parties and lots of food throughout. I was too busy having fun to remember to even document it.

But, here are some from out date night, so enjoy!

Tableside Caesar.

Our view overlooking the River

Hmm, filet and sherry mushrooms. You are my weakness.

Admiring my hydrangeas in the backyard. The only flowers that I haven't seemed to kill, yet.

I hope y'all had a great weekend, and the countdown has already begun for the next.

  3. Your hydrangeas are beautiful and remind me of days spent at my grandmother's house. She had two huge hydrangea bushes on both sides of the steps at her back door and I've always loved them.
